Nepal is one of the best tourist destinations in the world. Due to lack of publicity, here are many places which has not explored yet. It has remained hidden among the public, even boundless charming on it. Among of them Bhumlichok is one, it is located at East-West part of Gorkha District in the Gandaki Zone with distance of about 95 KM on the way to Prithvi Highway from Kathmandu. Bhumlichok is in appropriate location from main cities of Nepal; it has easy access from Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan or Lumbini. You can drive to Fisling by regular tourist bus or your private vehicle, than walk about 11 Km through the jungle and villages about 3 to 4 hours to get in or can drive to Bhumlichok by public transport. Bhumlichok had 3,545 populations, who inhabited in 685 different houses according to 2011 censes. The lowest elevation of Bhumlichok is Fisling at the bank of Trishuli River, altitude of 287 meters and 1652m elevation at Bhairabi Tar (Pokharai Tar) as highest elevation.
Bhumlichok has huge potential for tourist destination due to cultural and religious diversity and its geographic structure. The main dweller of this VDC is Magar; who are following traditional cultivation methods for the organic food, preserve their culture and rituals. Chepang/Praja, Gurung, Newar, Damai, Kami, Chhetri etc. are other ethnic groups of Bhumlichok. Every ethnic group has their own culture, language and belief. They celebrate many fast and festival together, as good harmony and brotherhood. Chepang/Praja village is another attraction of this trip. Chepang is marginalizing ethnic group of Nepal, who used to spend their nomadic life in the jungle around Trishuli river bank past ten years. They are very popular for spiritual power Dhami Jhakri (Shaman), fishing, hunting, and slash burning cultivation etc. endogenous knowledge.
Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) has accounted for 2073 B.s as “Nepal Ghumphir Barsa” which means Travel Year, to promote new tourist destination. Bhumlichok Bhairabi Home Stay is one of the suitable places for every domestic and international travel, who like to explore rural village with mountain scenery and cultural show. Bhairabi Temple, Bhairabi Tar, Dudh Pokhari, Dhundagade are represent of cultural and historical landmark of the Bhumlichok. Buddha Purnima Mela is key feathers of Bhumlichok, where people warship Bhairabi known as sister of goodies Mankamana. Likewise, others main festival Dashain, Tihar, Teej, Maghe Sankranti, Janai Purnima, Loshar celebrated with great joy. From top of the Bhairabi Tar you have incredible panoramic view from west Mt. Dhaulagiri range to east Gaurishankar Himala including Annapurna, Machhapuchhere, Lamjung Himal, Manaslu, Buddha Himal, Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal Range. Likewise, you can see amazing Mahabharat Range landscape view with Trishuli and Bhudhigandaki valley.
Bhumlichok Bhairabi Home Stay can do combine with any other activities like Trishuli River from Charaudi to Fisling for 3 to 4 hours or mountain biking or paragliding. The adventures Hero Sanu Babu Sunuwar (National Geographic 2011), had successfully done paragliding many times from Thal Danda, Okheldanda at Bhmlichok. According to the Budhigandaki Mega Hydropower project plan Bhumlichok might be one of the best touristic destinations after complete project.
The Magar Tourism Society explored 2 Days 1 Night Bhumlichok Bhairabi Home Stay trip on 9th and 10th Decemvber-2016 with 40 participants. There are 25 houses where basic home stay amenities available.

1 : Drive Kathmandu to Fishling (287m) -3 ½ to 4 hours by tourist bus, Walk to Bhumlichok (1652m) – 3 to 4 hours
2 : Explore touristic attraction including Pokhari Tar and Bhairabi Temple. Walk to Charaudi (492m) – 3 to 4 hours via Chipletee (1460m), and drive to Kathmandu (1350m) – 3 to 3 ½ hours.
